    If  All  The  Skies Were  Sunshine

    If  all  the  skies were  sunshine,           如果满天都是阳光

    Our faces would be fain                     我们的脸庞会很乐意  

    To  feel once more upon them               再次感受那

    The  cooling splash of  rain                雨水泼溅的清凉

    If all the world were music                   如果人世只是音乐

    Our hearts would often long                  我们的内心准会渴望

    For one sweet strain of silence                有一段甜蜜的宁静

    To break the endless  song                  打断那无休止的歌唱

    If life were always merry                    如果人生只是欢乐

    Our souls would seek relief                  心灵就会寻找舒张

    And  rest  from werry  laughter            躲开累人的欢笑
